Water Out Volusia County tackles residential loss in Orlando
Wendy A. Waszak from Water Out Volusia County in Florida sent in photos from
a job in November as well; a residential project at a two story home in Orlando.
“The loss occurred on a Monday evening in the upstairs master bath saturating
the bathroom and the entire downstairs; 1,400 sq ft. The flooring was constructed
of tile and concrete. The builder had called in a carpet cleaning company
on Tuesday morning to place drying equipment. When we arrived on Thursday
afternoon and found there was insufficient drying equipment and the affected
areas were still saturated after 2 ½ days, we explained to them that
the Water Out® system would have the home dry by the end of the week.
They were surprised to hear that and told us to go ahead.
We set up the trailer and had everything running by 4:30 PM on Thursday. We
came back the next morning to monitor the progress and by 5:30 PM on Friday
everything was dry. The builder was very impressed and we saved the day!”

Water Out Volusia County tackles job in Ormond Beach
Wendy A. Waszak from Water Out Volusia, one of the newest Water Out® members,
sent in a picture a Water Out® job last month. “Last Thursday, September
14th, a custom-home builder in Ormond Beach
called us needing our help. He had a two-story, three-car garage home that
had been vandalized the night
before. The vandals broke a water line in the master bathroom flooding the
entire downstairs consisting of
2,300 sq ft with 12’ – 25’ ceilings. The floors were constructed
of Travertine tiles and engineered wood. The
home also had no electricity or HVAC; the perfect job for Water Out®.
We arrived on the scene and after
speaking with the builder, we started the job. Two days later on Saturday,
the drying job was complete.
Everyone was amazed at how fast it dried! A special thank you to fellow Water
Out® member Paul Medis of Water Out Northeast Florida / Water Out Tampa
for answering some of the questions we had.”
